It all started on the UCSD campus buses. CJ had noticed Brooke a few times on the ride to class, but he hadn’t worked up the courage to talk to her yet. One day, fate (and a little Halloween magic) stepped in. Brooke was dressed as Rosie the Riveter, and CJ finally decided to say hello. With a smile, he walked up and said,&nbsp;“We can do it!” It was a testing day for both of them, but from that moment on, everything just clicked. They started talking, riding the bus together, and quickly became inseparable. That small Halloween hello turned into study sessions, brewery dates, and eventually a love story that led to this very moment.

Yes! We’ve reserved a block of rooms at Hotel Lexen in Santa Clarita. They offer 15% off when you book within 14 days of the wedding. The discount will activate starting April 11, 2026. Just a heads-up, rooms may fill up fast, so we recommend booking sooner within those 14 days rather than later to make sure you get a spot. To get the discount rate, simply book your room on their website. Once booked and you receive confirmation, call the hotel at (661) 505-7500 and mention "CJ &amp; Brooke's Wedding on April 25th" and they will adjust your rate and give you the block discount.

There are many Airbnb and vacation rental options available throughout Agua Dulce and the surrounding areas. Guests are welcome to book accommodations with Airbnb that best suit their needs and travel plans.

Airbnb & Vacation Rentals

A shuttle will take one trip from the Hotel Lexen to the venue. Boarding begins at 2:00 pm on April 25th in the hotel parking lot. Unfortunately, this bus can only accommodate 56 people at a time, so if you are able to carpool, drive, or Uber, please do so. There will be plenty of parking at the venue. The shuttle will take two return trips to the Hotel Lexen at 9:00 pm and 10:30 pm. This service is not exclusive to customers of the Hotel Lexen, so if you are staying nearby, you are welcome to catch the shuttle as well!

Hike, explore, or snap photos at the iconic rock formations where Star Trek, The Flintstones and countless movies and TV shows were filmed. This is also where CJ popped the big question, and of course, I said “Yes!” So it’s officially the most romantic spot in Agua Dulce!

Vasquez Rocks Natural Area and Nature Center

Relax with a wine flight at this beautiful local winery surrounded by rolling hills and just down the street from our wedding location. It’s the perfect spot for a pre-wedding toast or a lazy afternoon in the sun;)

For the thrill-seekers in town, Six Flags Magic Mountain is just a short drive away in Valencia. Known as the “Thrill Capital of the World,” it’s packed with record-breaking roller coasters, family rides and classic theme park fun. Whether you’re chasing adrenaline or just want a funnel cake and a Ferris wheel view, it’s the perfect day trip for a little pre- or post-wedding adventure (hopefully when you’re not too hungover from the night before)!

Six Flags Magic Mountain

If you’re an aviation enthusiast (or just love cool history), Blackbird Airpark in Palmdale is worth a visit. It’s home to the legendary SR‑71 Blackbird, one of the fastest planes ever built, along with other unique aircraft. It’s a small outdoor museum but full of fascinating photo ops and stories from the golden age of aviation.
